While proper medical therapy is essential to keep rosacea's signs and symptoms in check, a vast array of additional measures have been discovered by patients to help control their condition. The National Rosacea Society has launched It Works for Me, a new section on its website, to collect and offer tips from patients -- and doctors, too -- that might help rosacea sufferers with their individual conditions.
We've organized this personal advice into categories that cover the most common flare-up triggers, including weather, food, stress, physical activities, psychological aspects and more. If you have a tip to share, you can email it to itworksforme@rosacea.org and it may be included.
