The latest issue of Rosacea Review is now live.
This issue features a look into ocular rosacea (subtype 4) and dry eye symptoms during the severe weather as well as a new study showing additional evidence on the potential relationship between a microscopic parasite, Demodex mites, and rosacea.
Also included is a review of historical medical illustrations of rosacea courtesy of the Journal of American Academy of Dermatology. In a new success story, a patient tells how she battled her rosacea through proper education, medical treatment and diet, and the results from our latest patient survey show that despite pending changes in health care insurance, prescription medication is currently covered for most patients.
Other features include Q&As on managing rosacea symptoms under a heavy exercise plan and what waking up with dry, swollen eyes could mean, as well as tips for minimizing alcohol-induced flare-ups.
