I now carry a green “cover stick” in my purse when going out anywhere.  If I have a sudden flare-up, blending a little over my makeup is a life saver.

For cosmetics, I use a water based foundation first to hydrate and hide the redness. I then apply a smooth powder in order to make my skin look softer.
